Wynnedale Town Council Meeting
Meeting Minutes
October 11, 2022 Fitness Farm
Present: Jarnell Craig, Ann Hildner, Sue Rice and Andrew Hawickhorst
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM
Previous Council Meeting Minutes approved
The next meeting will be November 15, 2022 (postponed one week from voting
day.
The main purpose of this meeting was to approve the 2023 Budget. The three
council members attending signed the budget and Jarnell Craig will get Josh Smith
and Mary Beth Schneider to sign when they are available.
The discussion of installing a small park met some major roadblocks. Jarnell Craig
received excellent information and guidance as to what must be done to Knollton
Road North of Wilshire Road. The road is too close to the proposed park and
sales and purchases of part of the road may put the possibility of opening
Knollton Road into the conversation.
Jarnell Craig will have the water company turn off the water on the esplanade.
I have contacted two neighbors about their trees growing into the road or very
low over the road. One has already pruned and solved their problem and the
other said they would work on it very soon.
We discussed beautifying the esplanade, possibly contacting Keep Indianapolis
Beautiful for ideas.
We talked about speeding. Ann Hildner will contact Washington Township
Schools to report the school buses travelling too fast. I will contact one neighbor
who is reported as going too fast. I did this today 10-13-2022. He was receptive
and understanding and did not realize he was going too fast.
Meeting adjourned 8:20 PM.
