The Wynnedale Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday Oct.
11 at The Fitness Farm, 2525 W. 44th Street, to finalize and vote
on the 2023 town budget.

September 13, 2022, Fitness Farm
Present: Jarnell Craig, Ann Hildner, Sue Rice, Andrew Hawickhorst, Josh Smith, Mary
Beth Schneider, Connor (Wynnedale resident)
Next meeting: November 08, 2022, 7:00 pm
1. Call Meeting to Order at 7:00 pm.
2. Previous Council Meeting Minutes approved
3. Treasurers Report:
a. Budget to be approved next week. Refer to budget spread sheet.
b. There has been a 12% increase per month in the AES bill
c. Money from the American Rescue Plan (ARP). There are no restrictions on the use of that
money. Spend by 2026.
d. Discussion of restrictions on how we spend money in each category. Budget categories are
fixed but we need clarification from State Board of Accounts.
e. Can we reapportion funds to a “town improvements” as a new line item? Take from repair
and maintenance line item?
4. Lawn care snow removal
a. Josh talked to acquaintence Ben about plowing who said he was interested in giving us a
proposal.
b. Company who plows Healthplex is a possibility.
c. Would we be allowed to rent a plow for our use?
5. Discussion of installing a small park
a. Representative from city parks department will be visiting to advise us on this possibility.
b. What is our liability?
c. Do we have a space that meets the requirements for play equipment?
6. Speeding through the Town of Wynnedale
a. Do a “survey monkey” poll regarding speeding asking residents about their preferences.
(Josh and Andrew will do this?) Speed bumps, speed humps or speed tables? These may
complicate snow plowing.
